Having a good coach or mentor, can mean the difference between ultimate ‘ the sky is the limit’ success and doing well. But what exactly does a coach do? What is coaching?
Gerard O’Donovan, CEO of the European Coaching Institute wrote the following definition of coaching:
“Coaching is about performing at your best through the individual and private assistance of someone who will challenge, stimulate and guide you to keep growing.”

‘Personal Coaching is a relationship which is designed and defined in a relationship agreement between a client and a coach. It is based on the client’s expressed interests, goals , and objectives ’.
Coaching exits for century’s and is more than teaching. It’s dipping in to someone’s potential, eliminating all the obstacles and lifting them higher than ever before. Coaching is holistic and looks at every aspect of a coachee’s life, showing the connection between mind and body. Techniques used have a firm base in science and will lead to the achievement of goals.
Coaching will help to get your thoughts together. It will discover your core values because they guide you sometimes unconsciously on your path. You will realize your priorities and only yours.
In coaching you are the most important person. During a session it’s all about you. Because it’s you and only you who can determine the right course. People who feel that there most be more to life than they are experiencing now might like to try coaching. Coaching gives you more clarity.
